Mass For The Feast of St. Michael 2023

Friday 29 September marked the Feastday of The Archangels Ss. Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, with St. Michael being the Guilds Patron and also the Patron Saint worldwide of the Police Service.

Masses were celebrated at various members' Parishes with the intention of praying for Guild members and the police family in general.

The Guild itself organised two Masses, one which was celebrated at Our Lady Of Ransom, Rayleigh with the other celebrated in the Chapel of Greater Manchester Polices' Training School at Sedgley Park. The celebrant of the latter was our National Chaplain, and Lead Chaplain to GMP, Fr. Barry Lomax and amongst the congregation were serving and retired officers and staff from GMP, Merseyside Police and The Metropolitan Police. We also welcomed members from the National Crime Agency, one of whom had tavelled from Birmingham for the Mass (which in itself was a pilgramage on the M6 on a Friday night !).
